- Prepare the operating room before surgeries, including sterilization of instruments and arranging surgical tools.
- Assist in the transfer and positioning of patients before and after surgery.
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sponges, and other items.
- Maintain inventory and ensure availability of OT consumables and instruments.
- Clean and disinfect surgical instruments and OT post-surgery.
- Operate and maintain OT equipment like suction machines, cautery machines, monitors, etc.
- Coordinate with surgical team, anesthetists, and nurses for smooth conduct of surgeries.
- Maintain proper documentation and surgical logs.
- Support in emergency situations and be available on call if required.
- Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology or relevant qualification.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments, OT protocols, and infection control.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
