We are seeking a
dedicated, experienced, and disciplined Female Physics Teacher for Navodaya Residencia for Girls, a premium fully residential academy in Gangtok, East Sikkim. The candidate will initially teach Winter Crash Courses for Classes X & XII (CBSE/ICSE) and will have the opportunity to continue for the 1-Year Residential NEET Coaching Programme (June 2026 onwards).- Teach Physics to students of Class X, XII, and NEET aspirants (CBSE/ICSE/NEET)
- Design lesson plans, practice sheets, and class tests based on curriculum standards
- Prepare students rigorously for Board exams and NEET Physics section
- Monitor academic progress, provide regular feedback and mentoring
- Conduct regular assessments, doubt-clearing sessions, and mock tests
- Enforce discipline and maintain academic decorum in the classroom
- Participate in planning, staff meetings, and collaborative academic discussions
- Take academic and moral responsibility of students, especially in a residential setup
- Assist in supervision and guidance of students beyond class hours (if residential)
- Master�s degree in Physics M.Sc � B.Ed preferred
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at higher secondary or NEET level
- Strong command over NEET syllabus (Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Modern Physics, etc.)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Should be female, preferably below 45 years of age
- Must be passionate about girl-child education and value-based teaching
- Willingness to stay in the residential campus preferred (with lodging & food provided)
- NEET Coaching experience
- Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE curriculum and question patterns
- Experience working in a residential school or girls-only institute
- Fluency in English and Hindi (Knowledge of Nepali or regional language is a bonus)
