Principal Engineer Embedded Software & Firmware

In your new role you will:

• Analyze and elaborate requirements from multiple stakeholders into actionable product requirements.
  
• Define the most suitable SW requirements fitting to our microcontroller.
  
• Identify requirement issues and risks early in the life cycle.
  
• Categorize and assign requirements (REQs) to releases
  
• Manage change requests (CR) and problem reports (PR) effectively
  
• Drive requirement reviews, baselines, and controlled updates
  

• Observes and proactively acts on trends in own domain of expertise
  
• Has a sense of urgency for upcoming innovation and supports feasibility studies

Understanding of own impact and interdependencies in own domain of expertise

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in Embedded Automotive Software
  
• Good hands-on of Requirement Engineering, Embedded C & UML
  
• AUTOSAR knowledge with focus on MCAL
  
• Knowledge in automotive standards & processes as ISO26262 & ASPICE
  
• Fun learning new things and you are willing to update your job knowledge by studying state-of-the art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment
  
• Fluent English skills and a good sense for communication
  

A university degree in technical studies or Computer Science e.g. Electrical Engineering, Physics, Information Technology
