We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented
Project Engineer (Civil) to support the execution of civil engineering works for a major airport infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will be experienced in large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery, and capable of coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and contractors on site.- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring civil construction activities for airport infrastructure
- Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, MEP teams, and contractors for seamless project execution.
- Supervise on-site civil works to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and timelines.
- Manage day-to-day site operations and resolve technical/construction issues promptly.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with DGCA, ICAO, BIS, and other relevant codes.
- Maintain records of work progress, inspections, materials, and subcontractor performance.
- Assist in preparing project reports, RFIs, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
- Coordinate with client representatives and government agencies for inspections and approvals.
- Strong understanding of airport civil infrastructure works and related technical specifications.
- Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
- Hands-on experience in site supervision, quality control, and subcontractor management.
- Knowledge of relevant standards (ICAO, AAI, IRC, IS codes, etc.) and airport construction practices.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced project environment.
- Previous experience working on airport or aviation-related infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with runway/taxiway paving, ground lighting coordination, or airside safety requirements.
