We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented
Science Lab Assistant to support the smooth functioning of our school science laboratories. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing materials for science practicals, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean lab environment for students and teachers.- Assist science teachers in setting up laboratory equipment and materials for experiments.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the lab.
- Prepare chemical solutions and arrange specimens as per the syllabus requirements.
- Label, store, and manage chemicals, glassware, and lab tools safely.
- Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and tools.
- Maintain inventory of lab supplies and report shortages or requirements to the science department head.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and immediately report any hazardous conditions.
- Assist students during lab sessions and help them use equipment safely.
- Keep records of lab usage, breakages, and experiment logs.
- Minimum 2�3 years of experience as a Science Lab Assistant, preferably in a school setting.
- Familiarity with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology lab practices.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols.
- Organized, punctual, and responsible with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
- Minimum qualification: Diploma or Graduation in Science or related field preferred.
