Senior Software Engineer (PEGA Support & Administration)

About this role:* Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:* Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
  

Required Qualifications:* 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Additional Required Skills* Skill on Red hat Linux OS, Networking and storage.

• Overall, 3 years of experience in Pega deployment, administration and support.
  
• Must have certification in PEGA and Cloud Mandatory
  
• Must have experience in managing deploy and support Pega application on OpenShift or any other private cloud environment.
  
• Must have experience in PEGA application cloud migrations private or SAAS or public.
  
• Should have good knowledge in middleware products- Tomcat,
  
• Should have good knowledge in Database (Oracle/MSSQL/PostgreSQL),
  
• Should have experience in supporting business critical applications which includes- Maintenance, Tech Refresh, Cloud Migration etc.
  
• Must have good knowledge on software development process,
  
• Must have experience in working Agile model,
  
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills,
  
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including senior management,
  
• Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment,
  
• Strong team or technical leadership experience,
  
• Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions.
  

Desired Qualifications:* Deploy PEGA application in OpenShift and SaaS

• Engineer PEGA platform at cloud
  
• Pega applications build, upgrade, migration and support
  
• Development and deployment of PEGA apps in OpenShift or any other private cloud env.
  
• Pega Saas experience/knowledge will be added advantage
  
• Automation /scripting skill in Python, Java, any other tools
