Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Coder with expertise in Emergency Department (ED) coding – both professional and facility, Evaluation & Management (E&M) coding for outpatient and inpatient services, and coding for (OP) and surgical skin procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate medical coding and abstract clinical data from patient records.

Ensure proper assignment of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes, including appropriate use of modifiers and understanding of global surgical package concepts.

Stay updated with the latest changes and guidelines in ICD and CPT coding standards.

Maintain up-to-date electronic health records and verify insurance coverage details.

Collaborate with the billing team to ensure claim accuracy and reduce denials.

Required Skills:

Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and current industry updates.

Deep understanding of coding modifiers and global period concepts.

Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy and compliance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Word and Excel.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification in a medical field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
